what taught me the first steps

I have been wanting to blog for some time now. I have varied interests and surf the net to seek information and read up. I have come across great stuff put up by people and found them interesting. Some i share on the Facebook, but I think only my friends will see it. I want to create something which can be of use to folks like me searching content on subjects which I like. Health, Psychology, Music, politics, international relations, cooking and philosophy to name a few. so I am going to start. I dont know where it will take me, but time to stop procrastination. here I come.
